Summer 2024 will be fantastic at Venø Gallery. The exhibition includes many exciting artists.
Anne Hennig-Olsen and Laila Thirup present new cups and bowls – lightly and beautifully glazed. As something new, one of Denmark's most talented tapestry weavers, Jenny Hansen, shows small tapestries in powerful colors. Jesper Sand returns with new silver jewelry designs.
Nana Agger has been coming to Venø since she was a child. Today, Nana has a studio on the island. Her oil paintings have exciting threads back to her childhood experiences in Kærhuset. Lillian Hammer also has ancestors on the island, but her paintings take their own paths. Intuition is given free rein, making the paintings very present.
In her graphic works, she is captivated by the round form, which highlights the motif especially well.
The winter season is a quiet period when artist Lis Møller Jensen immerses herself in graphics, painting, and drawing. All works are inspired by nature – without being naturalistic.
At Easter and in summer, other artists are invited, and exhibitions with ceramics, sculpture, graphics, painting, and drawing are shown.

The gallery is open at Easter, June, July, and August – every day from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Outside the season, it is open by appointment.
