Over the years, the Ny Carlsberg Foundation has donated numerous art pieces to Tuskær. These include jars by Gertrud Vasegaard, large porcelain vessels by Bodil Manz, sculptures by Kirsten Lockenwitz, Svend Wiig Hansen, and Ejler Bille, as well as tapestries by Berit Hjelholt, Jette Gemzøe, Charlotte Schrøder, and Inge Bjørn. The visual artist John Olsen and sculptors Eigil and Laila Westergaard are also represented.
Tuskær has an extensive art collection featuring ceramics, drawings, paintings, watercolors, sculptures, and tapestries, many of which have been donated by the Ny Carlsberg Foundation.
Among the ceramic artists featured are Alev Siesbye, Jane Reumert, Beate Andersen, Lis Ehrenreich, Gertrud Vasegaard, Bodil Manz, Tove Anderberg, Gutte Eriksen, Erik Nyholm, and Steen Dybdal.
Sculptures include works by Kirsten Lockenwitz, Svend Wiig Hansen, Ejler Bille, and Ejgil Westergaard.
Textile art is represented by artists such as Anette Bendixen, Inge Bjørn, Charlotte Schrøder, Anne-Suzette Sadolin, and Jette Kai.
Among the visual artists and photographers, you will find works by John Olsen, Knud Hvidberg, Frits Bro Petersen, and Kirsten Klein. The collection includes many works by John Olsen and a single piece by Georges-Henri Rouault.
In addition, Tuskær houses a large collection of Bakuba textiles from West Africa and antique ceramics from Peru.
The center also features a unique library with 850 titles, including several rare books on art history, church art, textile art, ceramics, and works about various artists.
Alongside its permanent art collection, Tuskær hosts rotating special exhibitions featuring different artists.
