Take a walk in the past
During the summer you can combine a trip on board the “paddle steamer”/tour boat Svanen with a ride in the Mariager-Handest vintage train and a local bus.
A ride onboard the vintage train feels like going back to the 1950’s. The locomotives, the wagons, the rails, the station, the uniforms etc. are from the 1900 till 1950 period.
Even the tickets are the old fashion kind and similar to the ones used in the 1950’s.
You can begin your tour in "The Triangle Route" in both Mariager or Hobro.
