Top modern and fully refurbished hotel in Randers with unique atmosphere
Hotel Randers was built in 1856 and has a total of 84 rooms, including several exclusive and antique. All were renovated in 2016, so despite the hotel's history as one of the first Danish provincial hotels, you will experience classic surroundings with facilities that match the hotel's 4 stars.
The renovation has been gently done in collaboration with Novel Cabinet Makers and Baumann Boe-Whitehorn, where the latter is the Royal Building Inspector who, among other things, has renovated Frederik VIII's mansion at Amalienborg. Victor Borge has played the hotel's grand piano several times. His favorite room was # 111, also called the King's Room, where King Christian the 9th and Queen Louise have spent the night.
Hotel Randers is located in Torvegade in the heart of the old market town, where it has been located since there was a horse market. Just outside the hotel's revolving door you will find the city's pedestrian street with cozy shops. Many of East Jutland's sights are within a short distance, and there is a bus connection to Aarhus Airport. Combine your visit to Hotel Randers with an experience for young and old alike in Randers Rainforest, visit Elvis' home Graceland at Memphis Mansion or take a trip to Djurs Sommerland.
