The city of music obviously has its own street of fame
Of course! Horsens is known as a city of culture – not least because of the many arena- and stadium concerts with some of the most famous bands in the world. You know some of them for sure – lets mention the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Bob Dylan, and Harry Styles as a few examples. You would be surprised how many have actually performed here.
But Horsens is much more than just mega events played on the biggest scenes. The cultural life is flourishing, and the local venues have concerts with bands at all levels – from local upcoming bands to nationally famed artists, and those who are well-known beyond borders.
The stars in Graven
The Street of Fame was created to honour the history of live music in Horsens – from the biggest shows to the smallest. The cosy street Graven (a side street to the shopping street Søndergade) has almost 50 stars as of now with names of select artists. Not only the biggest bands such as Metallica, U2, and Bruce Springsteen, but also less known Danish bands.
Are you missing a certain band? Don’t worry!
Are you missing for instance a Bon Jovi star in Graven? The life-long fan does. But the Street of Fame is under constant development, and new stars are frequently being added. The stars are sponsored by local companies who get to choose the artist that will be immortalized in the centre of Horsens.
