Large dog park near Hedensted
Close to the towns of Hedensted and Løsning lies Sebberup State Forest. Here, a sizable dog park has been established, allowing dogs to run freely in the underbrush without a leash—of course, under the watchful eye of their owner.
About the dog park
With nearly 6 hectares, Løsning Dog Forest is one of the largest in the region. The dog park is an enclosed section of forest, featuring some variation in the landscape, including a water/marsh area for water-loving dogs as well as more open spaces. The park offers good facilities, including trash bins and picnic tables. Its size makes it suitable for leashed walks, while also being spacious enough for some privacy.
The dog park is located between Stubberupvej and Teglværksvej. From Stubberupvej, you can turn onto a gravel road that leads to a parking area by the southern entrance of the dog park. There are a total of three entrances to the dog park, which can also be accessed from Teglværksvej.
The two Sebberup Forests
Sebberup Forest is actually two distinct forests that are separated from each other, with the dog park situated in the northern part.
In the southern section, there is a marked trail of about three kilometers. Here, dogs must be on a leash, but the route is well-suited for walks with your dog. Along this stretch, there is also a shelter area where you can take a nice break. A gravel road from Remmerslundvej leads to a small parking area near the trail.
