About Grund Dog Forest
Grund Dog Forest is approximately 6 hectares of enclosed dog park. Inside the enclosure, there are several sensible paths to follow, providing plenty of opportunities to vary your walk. The presence of hills and streams makes it a fun place to explore. The entire enclosed area is set in the forest, making it a natural experience without man-made facilities.
How to find Grund Dog Forest
Grund Dog Forest is located in the area between Grundvej and Sanatorievej. There is a nice parking area at the entrance near a red-painted building, accommodating up to 10 cars. From Vejlevej, the main road between Vejle and Juelsminde, you can turn onto Grundvej. Follow Grundvej until you see the red barn on your left in the forest. The road will eventually become a narrow gravel road, but you're on the right track.

Approximately 1 kilometer from the dog park is the spa hotel and former sanatorium, Hotel Vejlefjord. Here, you can enjoy a delicious meal or take a walk along their paths through the forest and beautifully landscaped park. One of the paths leads out to the stunning Træskohage Lighthouse. On the other side of the dog park lies the valley Rohden Ådal, where it's also possible to take a nice walk with your dog on a leash.
