Langstedhuller – A Dramatic Natural Landscape on Fur
Langstedhuller is a captivating system of erosion gullies shaped by nature after the last Ice Age. It is one of the most scenic areas on the island of Fur, offering stunning views over the Limfjord from a height of 35 meters. In early spring, the slopes are covered with vibrant wildflowers such as Cowslip and Pasque Flower, making it a favorite spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers.
Visitors can descend the stairs to the beach and walk westward along the coast until they reach the staircase near the Red Stone. From there, a nature trail leads back along the cliff edge to Langstedhuller. The area is equipped with picnic tables, benches, and a toilet building, making it suitable for both short visits and longer stays in nature.
Langstedhuller is an ideal destination for those looking to experience Fur’s unique geology, flora, and panoramic views in peaceful surroundings.
At Langstedhuller, there are picnic benches and public toilets.
