Ehlers Samlingen is a true treasure trove
Ehlers Samlingen is the largest collection of pottery in Northern Europe, stretching back 500 years. This unique museum is, without a doubt, worth a visit.
The exhibition tells the story of everyday life through kitchenware, fascinating craftsmanship and the development of ceramic techniques through the ages. Among other things, you can experience soup pots, plates used for fish dishes, and the work of Danish sculptor Thorvald Bindesbøll.
The museum is situated in a historic building from 1577. The house is beautifully restored and contains some of the best-preserved Renaissance panel and ceiling paintings in Denmark.
