Your dog deserves a good vacation too!
Ring Forest is a large forest area that surrounds a significant part of the town of Brædstrup. At the northernmost point of the forest lies this enclosed dog park, where your dog can run freely off-leash.
About the dog park
The dog forest in Brædstrup is relatively large, covering 4 hectares. There are five entrances/exits to the dog park, providing access from multiple sides. A small parking lot is located at Østergade near the northern entrance, which serves as the main entry point for visitors arriving by car.
You can also access the dog park from Rosensgade and the Horsens-Silkeborg Nature Trail.
Inside the dog park, there are picnic tables and wood chip-covered paths. The area can be muddy depending on the season. There are small ditches in the vicinity where your dog can splash around.
Near the dog park
From the dog park, you can access the Horsens-Silkeborg Nature Trail, which leads to the town center. On the opposite side of the trail lies the beautifully renovated public park and the newly constructed activity park. Near the troll sculpture, you can also find Brædstrup's most famous resident, the troll Jensnej created by Thomas Dambo.
