Some of the workshops that you may experience are the sign writer's, the bricklayer's, the coppersmith's and a glove-making workshop.
The exhibitions in the 1200 quare metres large house are built as reconstructions of the various trades' workshops as they may have appeared in the period from the end of the 19th century to around 1950.
You will also get the opportunity to participate actively yourselve in the working processes. Furthermore, the two national museums, Det Danske Frisørmuseum (the Danish Hairdresser Museum) and Det Danske Optikmuseum (the Danish Optical Museum), are housed in the museum.
