Strejf fra Verden is a store that offers a wide selection of classic and colorful crafts, home décor, clothing, bags, scarves, and jewelry from around the world, as well as a large collection of Mexican glass and Polish ceramics.
The store's assortment is unique in that it consists of a blend of its own imports from many places around the world, purchased on a fair basis from family producers, combined with beautiful classic Danish clothing.
One of the biggest inspirations found at Strejf fra Verden comes from Jette Brøndum Pedersen’s own travels, where she was inspired by the Native Americans, their values, lifestyle, traditions, and not least their fantastic art and craftsmanship.
Strejf from the World supports fair trade and sustainability, prefers the use of natural materials, and promotes product manufacturing that does not harm nature and is not produced through the exploitation of child labor.
In the pavilion by the store, you can always buy tea, coffee, soft drinks, chocolate, ice cream, etc.
From here, you can also observe the local curious animals, pet a llama, enjoy the view over the beautifully rolling terrain with burial mounds to the fjord, Kilen, and Struer harbor and town.
The store and pavilion are happy to welcome visitors, both small and large groups, even outside opening hours by appointment.
