Ceramics on Nordlangeland
Modern ceramics with roots in the pottery of yesteryear. Unique and different, handmade bowls, plates, cups, sticks, hooks, etc. matched with glazing in Nordic colours that can be combined in different ways.
The workshop is located in the old village carpentry workshop on Stengadevej, opposite Tobaksladen, in the woods south of Tranekær. The light through the trees, nature and the forest surrounding the workshop is reflected in the interior design, choice of materials, colours and style. Here you follow the seasons, colours, sounds, smells, light and shapes of the surrounding nature.
Ceramicist and designer
Trine Steffensen is the designer and ceramicist behind the production. She has a lot of help from her daughter, Thilde, who likes to help out when she's off school. They are both very inspired by the Nordic style and not least by the nature that surrounds them.
Visit the workshop shop
In addition to their own products, they sell textiles from recognised suppliers as well as candles, sheepskin, lanterns, scarves, tea towels, blankets, throws, etc. - typically things that you can use in your holiday home or take home to remind you of Langeland.
The small shop/roadside stall (with polite self-service) is open all year round.
