Spodsbjerg Station blev opført i 1911 som den ene af endestationerne på Langelandsbanen. Ligesom alle øvrige bygninger på Langelandsbanen blev Spodsbjerg Station tegnet af Helge Bojsen Møller (1874-1946). Stationen var omstigningssted for færgerejsende. Om sommeren kørte der badetog fra Rudkøbing til Spodsbjerg hver dag. Ret ofte var der syv-otte vogne med badegæster og vognene blev koblet fra og brugt til omklædning. Sidst på dagen blev de så igen kørt tilbage til Rudkøbing.

Spodsbjerg station lukkede i 1962.
