Keramikfabrikken i Lindelse

Brødrene Ejler og Viggo Nielsen, der kom fra Kählers fabrik på Sjælland, opkøbte i 1921 Lindelse Keramikfabrik. Her producerede de mere end 10 ansatte keramik signeret LK. Fabrikken midstede sin skorsten under et slemt stormvejr, heldigvis uden personskade. Fabrikken blev i 1960 revet ned.

Oprindeligt var huset fra 1935 kun i stueplan med fladt tag og tagterrasse. Ejler Nielsen fra Lindelse Keramikfabrik var meget interesseret i astrologi og fik opført kuplen på taget i forbindelse med opførslen af 1. salen. Kuplen har i sin tid kunne rotere for at have 360 graders kig til stjernehimlen.

Senere i 1960’erne blev der produceret keramik fra Ejler Nielsens værksted på Udkig med signaturen ØBO (Øbo-keramik).
Knud Olsen fra Lindelse Keramikfabrik startede senere egen keramikproduktion i Værkstedsgården på Herslevvej 1.
