Keramiker Hans M Andersen & Gerd Hiort Petersen

Take a walk in the past

Over the years, ceramist Hans Munck Andersen has been greatly influenced by the imaginative world of cubism and colourful pop art, in both his faience and his stoneware. But method remains his big challenge: colouring the porcelain mass, which he works on in plaster moulds like distorted sausages.
At 27, Gerd was working and had her own studio in The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory, and her stoneware and porcelain were being exhibited in Denmark and abroad. Today, commissions pour in unsolicited; these include huge reliefs for churches
