Haugen Gallery
Take a walk in the past
Behind the gallery is Arne Haugen Sørensen's youngest daughter, Luise Haugen, who also exhibits in the gallery with her sister, Caroline Krabbe, and her mother, Dorthe Steenbuch Krabbe.
The gallery is housed in a disused bakery almost at the very tip of the headland. Here is peace to immerse oneself in the works of the four artists, who, despite the family ties, are vastly different in expression as materials and speak to both young and old. In addition to the works, there are sales of postcards and posters.
Close to fjord and harbour
The bus stops right outside the door, and at the end of the road, the fjord is glistening. A path at the water's edge connects Lynæs Harbor and Hundested Harbor, where there are trains to Hillerød with further connections to Copenhagen, Helsingør and Tisvilde - and a ferry to Rørvig.
