Galleri Skippergården

Take a walk in the past

Galleri Skippergården is located in Bjerregård between Hvide Sande and Nymindegab, where the painter couple Astrid Hygom and Leif H. Jacobsen established themselves in 1999. Jacobsen established their gallery in 1999 in the thatched dune farmhouse. Attracted by the culture, landscape and people of the North Sea, they create visual impressions of their surroundings, each in their own way, in the field of tension between the figurative and the abstract in graphics, watercolour and painting. The area is in constant change in terms of the sea, nature, harbour activities and beach life.

Opening hours: from 9 July to 1 September, every day from 02:00-06:00 pm. Closed on Saturdays.
Otherwise open by appointment on tel. +45 2464 9422. The rest of the year, see the website, www.astridhygom.dk
