Frie Vilje

The artist Thomas Dambo is known for building sculptures from recycled materials and perhaps especially for his trolls out of recycled wood.

In Bangshaveskoven in Maribo, near the open-air museum De Gamle Huse and the amphitheatre in Hylddalen, you will find the troll Free Will. It is one of many trolls that Thomas and his team have built from discarded boards, moldings and beams and fallen branches.

Thomas's sculptures can be found in several places in the United States, in Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Belgium and South Korea.
