Else Merete Deichmann - ceramics and sculptural work

Humorous birds with a twinkle in the eye, be it stylized hens, fat toucans or colourful sea birds. This is the main theme in the sculptural work by Else Merete Deichmann, a studio potter.

In addition to her garden-related ceramics such as coffee tables, birdbaths and bird feeders, Merete’s ceramic stoneware production also comprises dishes, vases and bowls. Everything is handmade and each piece of work is unique. As a new feature in her work, the funny birds have now started appearing in her wall reliefs as well. 

Merete took her ceramic education in England. Visitors to my showroom are very welcome, however, kindly contact me in advance.
