Take a walk in the past
Faaborg Cultural History Museum Association owns and operates the buildings in Holkegade, which is the setting for 'Den Gamle Gaard. Together with a large group of volunteers and committed people, we create a wide range of activities in a beautiful setting.
'Den gamle Gaard' actively and vividly conveys Faaborg and the region's cultural history through cooperation between the city's stakeholders.
'Den gamle Gaard' has been Faaborg's Market Town Museum since 1932 and until 2021 run by the Archipelago Museum. Since 2022, Faaborg Cultural History Museum Association, which owns the buildings, has been in charge of the operation and activities in Den Gamle Gaard.
