As part of Copenhagen’s goal to be a CO2 neutral city in 2025, the first climate quarter was established in the Skt. Keld’s Quarter of Østerbro.
The vision is to create an area boasting with green spots and fun, integrating urban spaces while also developing unique solutions to manage the heavy rainfalls that climate change has brought to Copenhagen.
The first climate adjusted urban space at Tåsinge Plads is finished, and here you can enjoy a spot in the sun or bring the kids to play on the ”raindrops”. You can also visit the urban roof-farm Østergro on their weekly harvest day (Wednesdays between 10:00 and 18:00) or try to book a seat at the adjoined restaurant Stedsans (open Thursday-Sunday).
