    Fårup Sommerland – amusement park

    4.04 km

n Denmark's Funniest Forest, there are over 60 attractions - and once you've paid the entrance fee, all attractions and the Aquapark are free!

Thrills, fun, and cozy times for both kids and adults

The forest offers experiences for the whole family. The youngest ones can, for example, take a ride in the Red Baron, where little pilots can control their own airplane. Another favorite among kids in Fårup is the Squirrel Tower, where you're lifted up to the treetops and then dropped in free fall back down toward the ground. For the older kids and speed lovers, there are thrilling roller coasters with lots of high-speed action. The Orkanen coaster is the only one in the Nordics that goes both above and UNDER water!

You can also try Denmark's wildest acceleration in the Lynet coaster, which launches from 0 to 80 km/h in just two seconds. Or how about a ride on the Falken, Denmark's fastest wooden roller coaster, or the Whirlwind, where you're tossed up and down from a height of 19 meters while also spinning around.

Fårup is much more than fun roller coasters. You can also enjoy bounce pads, numerous trampolines, horseback riding, mini-golf, canoeing, climbing structures, or a visit to the giant playground. And Fårup is, above all, about coziness and an authentic forest atmosphere!

    Denmark's largest roller coaster

Look forward to visiting Fårup Sommerland, where Denmark's largest, fastest, and tallest roller coaster has risen from Fårup's forest floor. Fønix rises 40 meters toward the sky and spreads out beautifully through the forest on Denmark's longest loop coaster. Fønix is undeniably the fastest bird in all of Denmark's forests, with a top speed of 95 km/h! Fønix is accessible to thrill-seekers as short as 120 cm.

The new Fønix roller coaster premiered in 2022 and has since won 4 awards!

Europe's best roller coaster Europe's best new roller coaster European top new attraction FKF-Award in the Roller Coaster category.

    Denmark's largest water park

In Fårup, you'll also find Denmark's largest Aquapark, where the whole family can enjoy the wild waves in the Wave Pool, which is heated to 27 degrees. You can also race down Surfhill or ride together in the giant inflatable rings in the Water Snake. You can also try the Water Cannon, the world's first outdoor water slide with free fall and two loops.

When the splashing is over and your hair is dry, you can have your senses thrilled in the 4D cinema or relax in the shade of the trees and have fun at the large self-service grill area, where Napoleon grills are available - all for free. In the restaurants at Fårup Sommerland, the whole family can find their favorite dishes - in both delicious buffet restaurants and the park's many other eateries. If you're into organic food, you can try the 100% organic eatery, Skovens Pasta - Økologisk Spisested.

    Experiences of international standard!

Fårup Sommerland was established in 1975 and celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2020. Fårup Sommerland has a customer satisfaction rate of 99%, and over the years, it has won numerous awards, including being named Europe's Best Amusement Park in 2021, top 3 among Europe's best amusement parks for four consecutive years (Kirmes, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018), World's 3rd Best Service (IAAPA, 2015), and most recently, the Best Summerland in the Nordics in 2018.
