Kulsøen

Take a walk in the past

The coal bed, which became the coal lake is one of the most important deposits of brown coal. After the extractions stopped, the naked areas were planted, not only to stop sand drifts but also to create an exciting nature area. Today the coallake is a sanctuary for web-footed birds such as mute swans, mallards, grebes and coots.

Facilities: Table and benches, place for a bonfire, fishing and a nature trail.
