He sold the mill to Iver Jessen in 1875 and Jessen's sons took over its production in 1918, when they returned from World War I.
The mill ground corn until 1972 and its machinery is still functional.
One of Denmark's best preserved buckwheat mills, it was completely restored in 1986.
The mill may be visited by appointment outside of usual opening hours by contacting telephone 74 66 41 80.
The mill is suitable for camp etc.
There are toilet and bath facilities. Possibility of spending the night indoors, cooking facilities, etc. Please telephone for further information. A campground is located by the mill. Price 10 D.kr. / night for adults. 5 D.kr./night for children.
