Borum Eshøj - kopi
Take a walk in the past
Excavation of the bronze age barrow
On the Eshøj tableland which is 4 square kilometres large, a great burial place from the bronze- and iron age was once placed including 40 grave mounds. A part of them is still visible but strongly ploughed down. "Borum Eshøj" was digged out in 1875 containing three oak tree cists with well-preserved bodies of two men and a woman.
