The lit-up copper organ pipes are being activated by a sensor that notices all traffic passing by. As soon as a certain number of visitors has entered the passage, the pipes will start to play John Lennons ”Give Peace a Chance” as a reference to the construction of the artwork in times of war in the Ukraine. That is how visitors are invited to become interactive in order to make the pipes play music.
