Cozy inn in the middle of Ærø
Vindeballe Kro is located in the middle of Ærø on the main road between Søby and Marstal. The inn can be dated back to 1726 and got new owners in 2022. The inn is buzzing with a lot of history, a large ballroom, a cozy courtyard and living space where you can relax after an eventful day on the island.
You have a short distance to the beach whether you drive east or west and if you are a nature lover, you must experience the beautiful Voderup Klint. It is an impressively beautiful view of nature where the sound of the sea roar and the salt in the air will only make the experience even more special. Also visit the island's largest city The Maritime City Marstal where you can experience the Maritime Museum and the many colorful houses around the streets. In Ærøkøbing you can follow the course of history with a walk in the old district or go to the local beer brewery and have a taste.
The churches on Ærø are also well visited where Marstal Church Or Bregninge Church can be worth a visit while the small and charming beach houses help to create an idyllic atmosphere on the island.
In 2022 Skipper Park opened a maritime amusement park that will especially create many fun experiences for families with children.
