Seaside hotel with unique sea views of the Baltic Sea
Stammershalle Badehotel is a unique bathing hotel built in 1911 on rocky ground along one of Bornholm's most beautiful coastlines between Tejn and Gudhjem. A view that has captivated the place's guests for a whole century.
Opposite the hotel, a number of Bronze and Iron Age tombs have been found. Flint tools, pottery, bronze jewelery, etc. have been found in the graves. In the immediate area you will also find Troldeskoven and Døndalen which are Denmark's largest waterfalls as well as Helligdomsklipperne and Bornholms Kunstmuseum. It's about. 10 km to Hammershus.
If you have the courage to explore the area by bike, it is possible to rent these from us at the reception. To the east is Bornholm's Art Museum with changing exhibitions. Of course, there is also a permanent exhibition with many of our talented artists, both living and deceased. The local bus routes stop right outside the hotel. The route to the north runs towards Allinge and Hammershus Ruin. If you are more into shopping, the bus runs east to both Gudhjem and Svaneke, both of which are very beautiful old towns that should be experienced.
For golf enthusiasts, there are only approx. 3.5 km to Rø Golf Club, which has 2 golf courses. Old Course is a beautiful but challenging course with rocks and lake, while New Course is one of Denmark's longest courses with a view of the Baltic Sea and Christians Ø.
