The inn is characterized by a genuine, traditional atmosphere, both in the rooms and in the restaurant, which serves all the good old inn dishes – right from “Burning love” to the classic Wienerschnitzel. For lunch you can for instance choose three unspecified open sandwiches or a large “Pariserbøf” (fried beef tartare), and in the evening the menu card offers desserts such as homemade ice-cream gateau and homemade pancakes. The inn offers weekend stays and “pampering Sundays”, which include a welcome cocktail and a 4-course menu based on the ingredients of the season and accommodation in one of the cosy rooms of the inn.
Since January 1 2015, the young couple Stephanie Graugaard and Torben Hansen, both of whom have an education as a cook, have owned the inn. They started a face-lift of the inn, and they have for instance renovated the party rooms, where there is room for up to 150 persons. They have not yet reached the age of 30, but for many years, they have had a dream of getting their own inn. As they say: “Why buy a flat of 26 m², when we can buy an inn of 2,600 m²?”
