Overlooking to Skanderborg Lake

Skanderborg Lake is a magnificent place and Hotel Skanderborghus, which is beautifully situated in Dyrehaven by the lake, rightly calls itself a gem by lake and forest.

When the hotel opened in 1961 it quickly became a popular place to visit and host events, functioning’s and parties. In 1974, the famous Danish architect Verner Panton was asked to modernize and redecorate the hotel with new furniture and carpets, and the famous Panthella lamps, which quite uniquely still exist in some of the rooms at the hotel.

In the late 1980s, they extended the indoor area with new banqueting rooms for parties and Hotel Skanderborghus became not only a popular place to hold parties, but also widely used for meetings and conferences from all over the country, while a large number of guests came for a weekend stay by the beautiful Skanderborg Lake.

Hotel Skanderborghus has 55 individually decorated hotel rooms. All rooms have their own toilet and shower, flat screen TV and a magnificent view of the forest or the lake. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and there is free parking outside the hotel.
