Cozy hotel in Lemvig overlooking the golf course

Lemvig is rightfully called the dimple of West Jutland's, and right here in the dimple by Limfjorden and not far from the North Sea is the old manor Nørre Vinkel. The farm is originally from 1841, but in 1978 it was converted into a hotel. You can still sense the farm, and in the restaurant, you are captivated by the impressive timber constructions from the old barn and by the beautiful view of the fjord. The restaurant serves its popular 3-course menus, based on seasonal ingredients and good local products.

When you live in Nørre Vinkel, you are in harmony with nature. It is right outside the door, and at Gjellerodde there are sheep grazing to make sure that the vegetation is kept under control. There are plenty of opportunities for an active holiday, and Lemvig Golf Course is only 500 meters from the hotel. The golf course is an open course in a beautiful scenery, hilly terrain, and it is almost without vegetation like the old famous courses in Scotland and England. When you play on the course in Lemvig, you therefore get completely different challenges compared to the more traditional courses.

Hotel in the middle of West Jutland dimple

Hotel Nørre Vinkel is located close to the nature area Klosterheden Plantage, which is Denmark's third largest forest area. Here the wild beavers, who were set free here years ago, build dams and the crowned deer move majestically around between the trees. Rare plants grow in the forest floor, and in the middle of it all is an airfield from World War II. The plantation is run primarily without the use of fertilizer, which is why streams and lakes are among the cleanest in the country. For the activity focused visitors, there is ample opportunity to use the plantation's hilly terrain and signposted bike paths.

Hotel Nørre Vinkel has 33 rooms with bath and colour TV and also conference facilities and banqueting rooms for up to 300 persons. Naturally the conference rooms have all necessary AV equipment and Internet connection.
