What do I get?

Whether you book directly or through Small Danish Hotels, you earn 1 point per DKK 3 on your total bill. This includes the room rate, restaurant, cafe, room service and any onsite purchases or fees.

If you book or pay through a 3rd party (e.g. booking.com), you earn 125 points per overnight stay and you will not earn further upon purchase.

If you stay several times a year, you can earn extra points: 

5 nights within the same calendar year earns 300 extra points 

10 nights within the same calendar year earns 600 extra points

20 nights within the same calendar year earns 1,200 extra points

40 nights within the same calendar year earns 2,400 extra points

You can earn points for purchases of up to a maximum of DKK 5,000 on your total room bill per night. You earn points on the room, regardless of who pays the bill.

What are the points worth?

7 points correspond to DKK 1.

What can I buy for my points?

Your points can be used for anything you buy at any of our hotels, or as part payment for your entire bill. (Minimum use of points for payment is 1,400 points, equivalent to DKK 200). Points can also be used in the Points Shop at smalldanishhotels.com only when you have the full points amount for the items. Please note that we ship items from the Points Shop to the EU only. There are no restrictions as to when you use your points or what you use them for.

Can I buy more points?

No, it is not possible to buy points.

When can I get points?

You earn points for overnight accommodation.

You earn points on your room, no matter who pays for the room. Only one person can earn points per room. Everything you charge to the room earns points.

Outdated points?

Points never expire as long as you are a member of Benefits. Please note that as a member you receive point update emails and relevant offers. If you unsubscribe from this service, you will also delete your account and lose the points, however it is possible to reduce the frequency of emails in your profile.

Can my company earn points?

No - Benefits points are personal and only for those staying overnight at the hotels. Instead, Small Danish Hotels offers special Corporate Agreements that work in conjunction with Benefits. This has no bearing on points earned.
