Six female artists have come together in a beautiful synergy of arts and expressions. The gallery is located on the first floor in the manager’s house, where illustrator Signe Find Larsen, jewelry artist Laila Engelbrecht, ceramist Sophie Emilie, graphic designer Kristine Winkel, visual artist Bettina Holst, and ceramist Lotte Dreyer permanently exhibit their exquisite works.
KRISTINE WINKEL has refined her specialty in linocut in her poetic and reflective illustrations as pictures and cards. She challenges herself with the contrast of light and dark in the motif, where there is a harmonious balance in the composition.
LAILA ENGELBRECHT works with jewelry recycled from existing pieces. She deconstructs stones, pearls, and precious metals with an incredible sensual overview into a plethora of expressions, delicate and colorful designs that appeal to women of all ages.
SOPHIE EMILIE makes ceramic cups, bowls, and vases with female attributes, where each cup has its own expression and humorous characteristic. They embrace an understanding and a love for the female body and the differences they can have, which are both beautiful and lovable.
BETTINA HOLST works with acrylic paint on large canvases, paper, and collages in abstract motifs with temperamental color combinations, where she constantly challenges the materiality and the compositional expression.
SIGNE FIND LARSEN masters various graphic disciplines. As an illustrator, she has published children’s books and accompanying coloring books from the magical narrative universe "Filøjsen," which speaks to children's investigative joy in nature. Signe has also published a series of butterfly illustrations, illustrated with lyrical precision and finesse.
LOTTE DREYER is represented with her skewed organic and sculptural unique vases, which challenge the conventional understanding of the vase's traditional formation. The expression is a fine mix between whimsical details and gravity.
Visit the artist-owned gallery on weekends between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., where the artists themselves are present in the gallery and work with their creations. Here, you can have a good talk about the community, the joy of creation, the genesis, and the person behind it.
